At Treeline, we’re proud to bring TimberNook, a globally recognized nature-based curriculum, to families in Central Florida. As the only licensed provider in the region—and one of only two in the state—we offer immersive, child-led experiences designed to inspire creativity, build confidence, and nurture essential life skills.

At Treeline, we’re always excited to bring new and engaging TimberNook opportunities to families. All programs take place at Treeline’s beautiful 10-acre wooded property in Central Florida, providing the perfect setting for immersive outdoor experiences.

Night Program: Night Ninjas(Ages 9-12)
Date: February 8, 2025, 5-8pm
Details: Unleash your inner ninja in this unforgettable nighttime experience! Children will create their own ninja gear, test their skills on glowing obstacle courses, and enjoy fireside snacks with friends. From stealthy maneuvers to epic challenges, this evening of laughter, movement, and sensory exploration will light up their imaginations. Register Here
Enchanted: Leprechauns in the Forest (Ages 4-7)
Dates: March 17-19, 2025, 9-12pm daily
Details: Children will have the opportunity to test out their construction skills, creating traps to catch sneaky leprechauns as well as enjoy a leprechaun themed party, find pots of gold in the forest, and experience a little bit of magic at the end of the rainbow! Register Here
Storybook: Jack and the Beanstalk (Ages 5-10)
Date: May 17, 2025, Time 9-12pm
Details: Step into the world of Jack and the Beanstalk in this magical, hands-on storytelling day! Children will bring the classic fairy tale to life by building a giant beanstalk to climb, constructing a castle in the sky, and uncovering treasures from the giant’s world. With plenty of time for imaginative play and creative building, this experience combines physical activity, teamwork, and sensory exploration to immerse children in the joy of a beloved story. Sensory Adventures: Forts in the Forest (Ages: 7-10)
Date: December 27, 2024, 9-12pm
Details: An epic day of classic childhood adventures building larger than life forts in the forest. This sensory-rich design and engineering experience will inspire hours of creativity and collaboration!

Barefoot & Buckets: New Years Music (Ages 5-10)
Date: December 31, 2024, 9-12pm
Details: Ring in 2025 with sensational noise as children create their own music experiences in the forest! With the great outdoors as the backdrop … childhood wonder & curiosity are sure to inspire creative instruments and sounds all around!

Barefoot & Buckets: Let’s Go Camping (Ages 4-8)
Dates: January 3, 2025, 9-12pm
Details: Kids will bring their own “camping” experience to life in the forest with friends. From shelter building to campsite adventures, this imaginative play experience will be one to remember. “Camping” would not be the same without s’mores so kids will have the opportunity to cook s’mores over the fire!

Tiny Ones Playgroup (Ages 18m-4)
Dates: Tuesdays, 9:30-11:30am from January 7 to April 29, 2025
Details: Join us for stress-free programming with optional participation in all experiences … we say YES to child-led exploration and rhythms. Every week, children will be guided into grand forest play experiences that challenge and engage their bodies and minds through the sensational TimberNook curriculum that sparks ever advancing stages of play.

- Low Adult-to-Child Ratios: With a minimum 1:6 ratio, our staff is available to offer guidance and encouragement as needed, holding space for children to make choices and explore problem-solving independently.
- Highly Trained Staff: Our team is CPR and first-aid certified, background-checked, and expertly trained in TimberNook’s curriculum.

Frequently Asked Questions
We strive to create an environment where all children feel welcome and supported during TimberNook programs. However, to ensure safety and success for everyone, we ask that children:
- Are comfortable in a 1:6 adult-to-child ratio setting.
- Can remain within the designated group area in the woods, which is not fully enclosed.
- Maintain personal safety with adults offering guidance from a distance, rather than being in arm’s reach.
- Engage in behavior that supports a safe, enjoyable experience for all participants.

Age ranges are flexible, and we’re happy to work with you to determine if a program is the right fit for your child. Please reach out to discuss your child’s specific needs.
We embrace the weather as part of the adventure!
- On rainy days, we play in the rain and use a tarp-covered area for temporary relief.
- During thunderstorms or high winds, we shelter under a nearby roofed area to ensure everyone’s safety.
Yes! If a program is full, you’ll see an option to sign up for the waitlist during registration. Please only sign up for the waitlist if the program is marked as full.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate make-up days, refunds, or transfers due to illness. However, you may arrange for another child to take your spot if needed. Please note, you will be responsible for handling any financial transactions with the other family.
All TimberNook programs, except for Tiny Ones Playgroups, are drop-off programs. While we are unable to accommodate parents staying on-site during the program, you’re welcome to remain nearby in your car if you feel it would help ease the transition for your child.
We do not directly bill for the Family Empowerment Scholarship (FES) for Treeline’s TimberNook programs. However, many families have successfully submitted their program receipt and description for reimbursement. We recommend reaching out to your scholarship administrator for specific guidance on the process.
